Louise Solheim var med och byggde upp Ping till ett av världens störta företag inom golfutrustning tillsammans med sin man Karsten Solheim.
Under lördagen avled hon i Phoenix, 99 år gammal. Det meddelade Ping i ett pressmeddelande under lördagen.
Louise Solheim gjorde mycket för golfen i allmänhet och för damgolf i synnerhet. Hon spelade till exempel en viktig roll i grundandet av Solheim Cup 1990.
Det var också Louise som namngav en av golfens mest ikoniska putters, Ping Anser.
Nu hyllas hon av golfvärlden.
